Abstract

Reference is One Of the means that achieve the coherence and consistency of the text. Lt is a skill of linguistic mastery, which is only performed by those who are aware of the importance of referential elements and their role in directing in the intended direction, Therefore,  it has an inherent relationship with the meaning, and its presence ensures the continuity of the text's flow in harmony, consistency and stability. Lt has the flexibility that makes it capable of retrograde and progressive extension with lightness and ease, Reference is not something that an expression does, nor is it a kind of decoration and dazzle, but it is something that someone can refer to by using a specific expression, it can be said that reference reduces the referred to in a way
