About
The Journal of Adab Al-Rafidayn (RADAB) aims to achieve several goals, along with all other journals of the University of Mosul, with its different specializations, the most important of these goals is:
- Publishing innovative scientific research and studies produced by faculty, researchers, and postgraduate students in scientific fields related to literature and humanities.
- Contributing to the enrichment of scientific research and scientific curricula and adhering to its standards with innovative research, achieving the required quality and progressing in global rankings by promoting scientific research, taking care of its rigor, and advancing it at the level of all human studies.
- Raising the level of scientific research submitted for publication in the journal by presenting it to no less than two to three peer reviewers for review, and amendment.
- Enabling researchers and referees from the College of Arts and outside it to acquire the intellectual and professional skills for its scientific research so that it has achieved two goals: the first is to train new referees on scientific evaluation and accurate academic evaluation. The other is to increase the sobriety of scientific research and produce it in a complete scientific and academic way.
- Defining the research level, scientific ideas and research approach that researchers of the College of Arts and the University of Mosul seek to work on.
- Building bridges of communication with solid academic scientific journals for research inside and outside the university to benefit from scientific experiences and simulate them to develop the journal at all levels and to achieve scientific cooperation with Arab researchers and scientists in the areas of specialization of the journal.
- Paying attention to the quality of published research in these fields, which may grant some researchers access to professional promotion in their work, and in Universities, where higher academic positions require distinguished research in order to grant their holder an academic promotion.
- Spreading the informational and research benefit of publishing research by making the full textual issues of the journal available to beneficiaries and researchers on its Internet platform by developing the site and updating it continuously
